The Competence Centre for Renewable Energy Systems at the site in Pinkafeld can be divided into 2 laboratory buildings with 3 focal points: biomass, heat pumps & refrigeration and hydraulic test facilities.<\/p>\n

It has a built area of about 1450 m\u00b2 and 1650 m\u00b2 of gross floor area. The functions contain testing, development and research.<\/p>\n

Main focus in the laboratory are the test benches (with 8 chimneys) which are operated for the development of modern boilers and heating systems on the basis of renewable raw materials (biomass). Furthermore, the development of heat pumps and the testing of solar systems and hydraulic components take place here. By combining technical with manufacturing facilities not only new and further developments of the current product range can be advanced but also more general developments up to a power range of 2 MW can be realized.<\/p>\n<\/div>
